"Lovely spot and guide to all the FF games!" -This is kind review about our Final Fantasy fan guide was given to us by pokerlistings.com, having reviewed our work here. Their poker online content team is working with this campaign to support devoted gaming guides such as ours. Hope all of you also enjoy our posts.

Here is a short passage detailing the best ways to beat each boss. To find out where they are in the game simply read the walkthru and refer back to this page when you need to. Note: Only two of the bosses are compulsory if you want to complete the game, and the other two appear in a sidequest. I'll go through them in the order they appear in the game...

Ultimate Weapon:

Ultimate weapon appears first in Mideel. It crushes the town and you battle it there. It next appears hovering over Junon, then Mideel followed by North Corel. It is around Fort Condor, Gongaga and finally near Cosmo Canyon.

It's attacks are Ultima Beam, Quera and Shadow Flare. Neither of these attacks cause very much damage provided you are well healed. When you go into battle, have an Enemy Skill materia because Shadow Flare is an Enemy Skill. However, it only uses Shadow Flare when you fight it last, over Cosmo Canyon.

In battle, just use Knights of the Round but you will probably need full HP and MP. Also, equip Phoenix Summon paired with Final Attack so that if you die, you come straight back to life!!!

Finally, when you win near Cosmo Canyon you will receive Ultima Weapon, Cloud's Ultimate weapon. Plus! when it lands, it creates a crater which leads up to the Ancient Forest.

Diamond Weapon:

Diamond Weapon is fought when you go back to Midgar on Disc 2. It is not very hard provided you are very well prepared.

It is weak against Lightning so Bolt3 works well. Use Tornado and Ultima because they work well too. It is almost immune to physical attacks so stick to those magic spells, Limit Breaks and 4xCut.

It's only attacks are Laser - minus 700HP, Foot Stomp - minus 1000HP and Diamond Flash. Once it's HP gets low, it gives you 3 rounds to kill it before it uses Diamond Flash. It doesn't matter if you don't do it in 3 rounds because Diamond flash only causes about 3000 damage and casts Silence-All

Emerald Weapon:

Emerald Weapon is the first of 2 optional bosses. It has 1 000 000 HP and yes, you've guessed it, it's bloody hard!

Equip all characters with Mime, one with Knights of the Round paired wiith either MP Turbo, HP or MP Absorb or Quadra Magic, one with Underwater, one with Phoenix and Final Attack and distribute Barrier-All, Time-All and Cure-All evenly. All materia should be mastered.

First, you should cast Wall, Haste and Regen, then Knights of the Round and Mime. Keep the chain of Mimes going and Diamond Weapon won't get a chance to retaliate. Whatever you do, DON'T BREAK THE CHAIN.

It's attacks are Emerald Shoot, Emerald Beam, Revenge Stomp and Aire Tam Storm. They're all powerful so watch out.

Note: All your characters need full HP and MP. If you want to take advantage of the 50 000 AP you get for winning then double or triple growth weapons help too.

Ruby Weapon:

Ruby Weapon is situated in the quicksand around Gold Saucer. Before battle, kill off 2 of your characters and equip all the materiae on one character or else Ruby Weapon will do it for you. In this strategy, I will be using Cloud.

Equip Cloud with Ultima Weapon, Mystile and a Ribbon or else Ruby's back claws will cause all sorts of nasty status ailments. On you weapon and armour equip Master Magic wit Magic Turbo, Enemy Skill with Magic Hammer, Speed Plus (or haste) and 4xCut. It also helps if you have full HP, MP and stats (especially Strength - 255)

Then, as soon as the battle starts cast Wall and Regen. Use 4xCut to get the claws out of the ground (that should take about 3 rounds) Throughout the whole battle attack the claws and heal, NOTHING ELSE. When the claws are out of the ground however, just use Magic Hammer to knock off it's MP it might use for other nasty attacks.

Also, only use Omnislash on it's claws because it only does about 900 per hit.
