Firion is the first lead
character in a Final Fantasy game with a name. He is much
like the fighter from Final Fantasy I, and starts out the
story for you. He is Leon and Maria's foster brother. After
the town is raided and his foster parents are killed, he and
the others three join together.
Maria
Maria is the first female
character in a Final Fantasy title with an actual name, and
is very similar in looks to the female warrior from the original Final Fantasy. She
is the brother of Leon and Firion's foster sister.
Guy
Guy is a very powerful warrior,
similar to an advanced Blackbelt from the original title.
He travels with the party following the raid.
Leon
A very detailed
character in personality, Leon's character sets the tone for
many of the suave, mischievous character to come in the
series. Brother of Maria, foster brother of Firion.
